How Do I Prevent A Repeat Failure?

Most injector and pump failures are due to water, dirt, or DEF contamination. The thing to remember is if the pump and injectors are contaminated then so is the fuel tank, filter base, lines, fuel rail (HPCR), and fuel connectors. If you replace the fuel system and don’t clean the rest of the system, your new system will be immediately re-contaminated. And…it is the same price to re-clean the newly contaminated as it was before. The parts are ruined. A really rotten feeling for sure. Don’t do this! Clean the entire system from tank to injector or you have done nothing. On Dodges always replace the fuel connectors. They are a one time use item. The nose deforms to the injector body for a perfect fit only one time and there is an edge filter inside that can’t be properly cleaned. Look at the pic below of a connector cut away and you can see what I mean. We offer a cleaning service to run the lines, rail, and all plumbing through an ultra-sonic acid wash.

YOU MUST CLEAN YOUR SYSTEM OR FAILURE WILL RE-OCCUR. RE-CONTAMINATION WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.
